The Greek god Bacchus, which symbolizes pleasure, decadence and abundance, was the inspiration for the food zine Opulenza – a collection of twelve recipes, which are represented brute and archaic – highlighting the underlining aspects of the opulent consumption. The act of cooking, like the food itself, can be very sensual. The recipes are presented without quantities, as a way to provoke cooking according to one’s own feeling as a relevant unit.
